Robin Hood's Bay, south of Whitby, on the Yorkshire coast
Robin Hood’s Bay is a small fishing village south of Whitby on the Yorkshire coast.  The main street descends down to the harbour.  I remember it being much busier as a child – bustling with boats.

Now it is an artists’ paradise where the red roofs stand out bright against the cliffs.  We have had lovely walks from here along the cliffs and back along the disused railway line now known as the Cinder Track.
